Pesta Sukan 2006- First Round!

i woke up at 5.15am! & took 196 to Kallnag Netball Centre.
on the way.. Germaine and Fangyi boarded the bus!
and good thing they boarded the bus.
if not i'll be in the bus all alone.lols.
cheechin couldnt make it on time. so didnt meet in the end.

Warmup.. blah blah.
and that grey CAT?! omg! lols.
was said to be owned by netball singapore? haha
alright, so me fangyi and germaine were uhemmm.
a little over-reacting. but we acted brave.haha

so i played WA for the first game against serangoon gardens
and we actually lead like 10 goals to nil in the 1st half
but guess what? they restarted the whole game!
due to some mistakes in the fixtures?
so shitty! so we had to restart the game!
and we didnt do as well as the previous one lah.
cus we conceded goals.
so there was one ball me & mas tried to intercept.
none of us communicated lah!
so eventually we CLASHED.
and she was hugging me! lols.
baluku on my head now! (:
but the pain went off after some time!
the eyes of the serangoon garden's bdiv players
tells it all, how much they wanted to revenge for their cdiv team.
we won 15-2 for the first game.
after our game was our juniors and their bdiv.
they worked damn hard. and they won serangoon gardens!

we won again. but i forgot whats the score!
next next! Geylang Methodist!
the match that 'woke' us up.
i just felt that the first two games were too slack-ish.
so when we meet a tougher opponent, theres no momentum kinda thing.
lols, so we drew with them in the end.
i was like totally BLUR on court.
and i admit this is the FIRST ever time in my netball life.
that i've been so BLURRED.
i thought i was a Wing Defence instead of a Wing Attack.
so i went to the wrong side of the court!
can u actually believe that?
and i wasnt doing my part as a Wing Attack lah!
i actually had an unecessary untouched centre pass!
which is like so stupid of me!
darn. my performance was totally crap.
so my coach talked to me after that match.
yes, i think its my damn attitude towards netball.
i wanna play for the team.
and i'll work on that!

Next match!! GuangYang!
we were playing well in the game lah!
and ms solastri said it was entertaining.haha
i went in only in the 2nd half.
and i was very very tired!
cus its like i couldnt breathe,
and the more i try to breathe, the mucus keep coming out.
haha, so its like. i have to *sniff**sniff*
but we won!i forgot what score! haha

last and the most important match.
its either we win it, or we're out.
everybody wants to win.
we just wanna see the result of winning.
but this midset made us neglect our normal court play.
and we wanted to get the easiest way to get the ball into melissa's hands.
that almost cost us the game.
ALMOST. but we did pick up towards the end of the match.
and we won 7-5.
perhaps.. its just better to play our normal game.
outram came close.we had alternate goals in the first half.
but we caught up in the end.

however, coach wasnt very happy about it.
he thinks that we're thinking of WINNING too much.
so.. despite drawing with Geylang Methodist,
we still topped the table and proceeded to the second round base on goal differences.
it will be played next sat! but this time, the opponents will be much much tougher.
we'll work hard(:

GO B'DIV!

i remembered the pesta sukan last year.
we lost to weaker teams and won the best team.
Outram, and we got a scolding for winning them.
we didnt make it to the second round last year.
but definitely, last year was much tougher and mroe tiring.
and i still miss the old bdiv team!
this year's team, i think theres still a long way to go!

Melissa was great today!! her shots are damn accurate,
she tried something new on court!
and i'm so proud of her!
